The Heracleea citadel,located in Enisala,Babadag,Tulcea county,Ro has been built around the IV th Century b.Ch.,and rebuilt between XIII - XIV th Centuries a.Ch
by the Imperial Bizantin Army,for economic purposes,because it's situated on the highest hill near the Razlem lake,which used to be a bay for the Black Sea. The citadel was abandoned after the XV th Century. Gorgeous landscapes around,and many legends in the nearby villages. |
