dark castle

Bran Castle (Törzburg), built between 1211-1225 by Teutonic knights, in the Rucar-Bran passage, 30 km. from Brasov, Transylvania. Mythically, it's supposed to be Dracula's castle, altho' Vlad Drăculea Ţepeş never lived there. The castle belonged to Sigismund de Luxemburg (Germany & Hungary's emperor) Mircea cel Batran, and Queen Maria of Romania. Recently, Romanian goverment gave it back to Queen Maria's follower, Dominic de Habsburg who turned it into a museum.
